Hi every one my fist post. Just got a bumper protector for my Sport Estate 170. Fits like a glove and looks great. Will save lots of scuffs and scratches, just thought i would share.

    Hi, and welcome!

Thanks for sharing - I'm interested in one of these for my Passat, however it's a 4 door saloon, and that's not listed there - will have to email them...
    Thanks.

I got mine from VW, local dealer didnt have any but pointed me in the right direction.

Should have been £33 but he knocked 10% off because I had travelled for it. ( actually had a day out in Lancaster so was worth it).

Fixes with double sided tape, I aadded a few more strips, waited for a nice day to fit it and then left it overnight.

Not the best of pics and it had just started to rain.

    Cheers Stuart.

    Working too hard.

A clear sticky sheet from a sign maker is a better option tbh, around £6 to buy, doesn't need painting, and has no real profile to notice, and simply peels off with hot water and cleans up with a bit of white spirit when it's finished with, hth.

I also looked this option, the garage that I worked at many many moons ago had a piece I could use.
I offered it up to it and knew instantly I would'nt be happy with it.
Plus I could see my two dogs eventually getting through it.

I know the picture doesnt show it but it looks like it was on the car from new and matches the trim at the bottom of the bumper.

    Each to their own though.
