I have done some research but found no luck, I was thinking to replace the N75 valve with a new one. The car went on limp mode again today, could not go past 100mph!!

    Can anyone shine some light?

EDIT: Where is the N75 Valve located? The car is a 1.9 TDI AWX (130pd) 2001.

Im 100% sure it is the N75 Valve causing the car to go on limp mode. When the car was replaced with new engine mounts the Indi told me that I need to replace my Boost control switch/valve (replaced last year). But I never took any notice of it, until now!

    Update:

I did some thorough checks on the pipes and it seems to me, that the pipe has been slightly melted.

    Here are the pics:

    Hey Bez101,

I guess your right, wasting all that money and find out thats not even the problem. That seems like a good idea, but I don't want to yes right now I might be busy on the weekend.

I will PM you by Friday morning and let you know!

Definately DONT buy a new N75 valve without a diagnostic scan first preferably with VAG COM i would take bez101 up on his offer at least you are 100% sure what the fault is then.

No worries Matta4. I did felt/touched the melted intercooler/turbo pipe and it seemed to me that it has gone through right in.

    1) How much would it cost to get the whole pipe replaced?
    2) Is there a cheaper way of fixing it?

If not, then where can I get the intercooler/turbo pipe? I had a look on ebay and seen only 1 thats going for £80!!

Have repaired intercooler pipes before with a metal insert (to the correct internal diameter) and two jubilee clips, difficult to see by your pic if its in a straight section, otherwise your into a bent section, maybe try the breakers!
