    Hello people,

My near side side light bulb in knackered so I bought a new one to replace it with, however I have noticed that the access to the bulb is tight.

I removed the rubber cover from the back of the headlight however I'm not sure how to remove the bulb, I can kind of feel the bulb and where the wires go on to it but I don't want to force anything.

How do I remove this bulb to allow me to replace it?

I know this is a simple question however I just do not want to damage anything.

    Cheers,

    Dan

With great difficulty. I have just changed both of mine and i found the near side one is a lot harder. I managed to get a pair of long nose pliers in there. Make sure you are happy that you have a grip on the bulb holder and not the wires, last thing you need will be that.

    They don't make it easy!!

Having read this thread , am I right to assume that the holder simply "pulls" out and does not need to be turned ?

I want to replace both of mine and obviously the last thing I want to do is break any of the wires

I still have not changed my bulb yet, I would also like to know is the side light bulb holder a pull out or is it a twist and pull job?

    Cheers,

    Dan

Managed to get by meat hooks in there eventually, honestly thought about selling the car and buying a new one with working sidelights. Cheers!
