Passat b5.5 front brake use audi a4 b7 ?

Hi guys

I had the stock front calipers with brackets...
Changed to brembo-used... Now it has a screeching sound
each time I step on brake at low speed....high speed hardly can hear

thinking of swapping to audi a4 b7 cos got a friend selling cheap

can the audi a4 b7 brakes with bracket fit ?
Or
how to remove the screeching sound ?
Ps when car is cold moving off no sound ... As it goes through the day...
Possibily with heat and expansion then the sound comes

Some/All? A4 B6 models use an Alloy wheel bearing carrier, where the passat B5.5 has a steel one. Due to the change in material. The brake caliper brackets use a different mounting hole spacing. I think the B7 A4 is likely to also use the alloy part..

You may cure the squealing by adding a smear of copaslip grease to the back of the brake pads?

Remove pads, chamfer an edge all round each pad braking surface and copper grease the backs. Replace pads = squeal gone.
No idea about the Audi brakes.
