My A4's timing belt (1.8 n/a ADR) was replaced by audi at 82,000 im now at 116,000 miles. The stuff i have read on the net says it should be replaced every 60,000?? or is that just the turbo?

im confused as to the fact audi replaced it after 80,000.

thats probably when the owner brought it in to do.

the recommendation is 60K or 4 years which ever comes first. Originally it was 80k but most manufacturers have reduced the intervals.

right so i should have another 20,000 miles before it needs changed, given i only do 12,000 a year i will get it next year, well within safety margins.
