    Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how I can remove the removal tool from my concert head unit? It seems I must have pushed one of them in too far and now it is stuck! Doh!

Have just spent an hour or so in the dark trying to manipulate it out all to no avail - any ideas anyone - please!

    Thanks

I had a similar problem, but got it lose really easy by moving left to right.

You dont need to push the keys in very far at all.

No help really, but just keep moving left to right.. should get them out

Did you put it in upside down? happened too me, no matter how much i pulled it wouldn't come, it even started pulling off the facia. Solution: tin snips, cut the key in half and push in and pull out the side with some needlenose pliers.. I did it twice.. but i'm special

    Hi Rednblack

I spent some time taking my concert system out to get at my aircon unit which needed 4 keys. The keys ARE a pain & can get stuck very easily.

The best way to get them out - I found - was to release them when they were still in the concert unit as it was slit out. If you feel along the side of the unit, in line with the key. you can feel the spring & push it in with your finger which releases the key.

    I hope this helps.

    John

Spent another hour this morning trying to remove the key, using your advice - but it would not budge. In the end I decided to take it to a local car stereo store - who removed it in 2 seconds flat!

To say I felt a complete t*t would be an understatement, but all's well that ends well I guess!

    Thanks for all advice anyway!

I have to agree with post #5. I had this problem when fitting a Parrot Kit to my A4, You should be able to simple push the spring like pieces of metal on either side of the head unit in towards the head unit. At the same time the key should become loose and you can pull it out again.
It's always easy when you know how...! ;-)
