Specification List?

Hi all,

this is my first post here, so please be gentle! I'm looking for a Passat 130 tdi, but would like som info as to what equipment is standard fitment on each derivative. Im looking at circa 2001-2003.

Some time in 2003 there was a revamp, such as extra rear headrest & three point belt, indicators in the mirrors, and ESP fitted on more (if not all models) in lieu of EDL/ASR. new emissions levels were brought in, but they also removed some nice features such as illuminated vent controls. Apparently, overall, they made cut backs to production costs in order to compete with a new Mondeo.

Thanks, I had looked through parkers before and failed to find the equipment link. One thing that does still seem to be unclear from reading that is wether Cruise Control is standard on the SE? On the front page it says it is, then when you click the 130 tdi link, it says its an option? Not too fussed either way, as I'll retrofit it if it doesnt come on the car I buy (I fitted it to my old Golf GT Tdi without any problems), but it would be nice to know before I got to look at a car

I may be wrong here, but I'd guess it's not a standard feature ...... my '05 Highline doesn't have cruise

We looked at a '54 Sport that did have cruise - but that also had Sat-Nav and full leather seats, so seemed to be up-specced. The Sport also comes with a 6 speed 'box and 16" alloys ..... but the one we looked at had too many miles for the price

The retro-fit kit is only £74 from VW and is supposed to be an easy fit (hope so anyway )

From what I've read, fitting the CC is virtually identical to the Golf, and that was pretty simple with the included instruction booklet Took me about an hour and a half iirc
