    I am looking at giving the GT 140 I have some well deserved more power has anyone had there's done by a diy box on ebay or anything I should consider.

    I prefer the old PD as think it was a better drive dissapointed sadly help power needed

    cant go along with PD being a better drive but hey ho, each to their own...

    with the bluefin it 'should' go like a GTD

    Most tuning boxes or remaps will give you GTD levels of power. Revo and bluefin are switchable units offering enhanced and normal maps, these mods are detectable, bluefin keeps your original map on the handset, revo give you aversion of the original. You still get a generic remap unless you visit one of their agents with a rolling road to do somecustom tuning. Ive looked at and spoken to tunit abouttheir plug in boxes, these aren't detectable and whilst again they are a generic map they do have some user adjustments and can be fine tuned by their agents.

    I'm tempted to get the tunit for my tdi, not detectable , plug n play, 12 month drivetrain warranty as well as 3 year product warranty. About £480.

    i had my gtd 140 remaped about 6 months back ,before that i tried a tuning box on but there was no comparison to the remap the car has so much more power ,it was done by celtic tuning
    standard figures are 2.0 TDi CR 138 bhp 236 lbft
    tuned figures 195 bhp 328 lbft
    they are a mobile service from cornwall to cumbria cost £313 all in
