I have a 2005 Touran 1.9 TDi and the horn has stopped working. When I press it, I can hear a "click" from somewhere inside the dashboard, so presumably the actual "button" is making contact.

According to the handbook, the fuse is F5 (20 amps) in the engine compartment box. But the actual fuse box layout bears little resemblance to the picture in the handbook, and F5 fuse is 30 amps and is not blown.

Trawling the internet, it appears that there is no relay in the horn circuit. So what is causing the "click" and what else can be wrong?

Any help / suggestions will be gratefully received!
