When I adjust the left hand side door mirror the right hand door mirror also adjusts at the same time, however, when adjusting the right hand side the operation is fine. Has anyone else experienced this problem and/or found a fix?

    Kind Regards

Put your mind at rest, you are quite correct.
The dealer pointed this out to me when going over all the instrumentation in the car. 'LEFT' adjusts both left and right mirrors, whereas 'RIGHT' only adjusts the right mirror.
Even I thought it was a piece of Teutonic Lateral Thinking

Are we talking about right hand drive cars?
In my car, when I last did it, if the knob is in the R position both mirrors adjust simultaneously you then have to select L to adjust the passenger's mirror, separately. And that is how it worked, also, in my old MK5.

You are of course right, so I hang my head in shame. Had a stressful day yesterday and obviously lost the plot ie LEFT for Right etc. Sooooooooo, apologies to everyone
Will engage the brain next time if I have not been banished

...and if you don't like that behaviour, it is configurable in the setup menu.

Yes that is correct. I wondered why they want to adjust both mirrors at the same time?

I asked a question about the visual gear change and I was told it depends on the memory display which you can switch between 1 and 2. I had a quick look through the Highline functions and I saw Mirrors which you can switched from both the individual, so thats cured my mirror adjustment problem.

I changed it to memory 2 and I shall now have to drive it to see if the visual gear change shows up.
