Faded red paintwork

Does anyone have any idea on how to put some life back into dull red paint work? It was t-cut about 12 months ago and then applied a good waxing. It did improve the appearance for a while but is now looking crap again, any ideas?

Hi, I have a 93 Audi Coupe in "red" , last weekend i bought the tcut polish with the red pigment and used an electric mop polisher (£15 fron halfords)to polish the car to add a little more elbow grease, this has given me the best finish so far on my car.

The best way to restore faded paintwork is to compound it with Farecla G3 compound and plenty of water with a proper electric buffer (not one from Halfords Etc) T cut is mildly abrasive compared to G3.
Go on Ebay they are about £50.
Wash your car first to remove grit etc then compound the full car (be careful not to burn the paint by staying in one area too long the water helps prevent this) wash your car again to remove the white residue.
Leather the full car dry then apply a good paintwork sealant I use Diamondbrite (can be bought off Ebay for around £10)
Then treat all of your plastic trim with a good restorer and clean all of the glass with glass polish.
Get your sunglasses out and admire the shine!!
This will take about a day to do but you will have big muscles, have probably lost a pound or two and have a good nights sleep!!

G3 is the best! I've used it in the past on my old GTE, it brought the paint up brilliantly. Then I used something made by the same company called Mirror Polish. Really made a big difference.
