    Hi All,

Model...Mk4 Golf Tdi 52 plate. ARL Engine.

I need some advise please. I was in the middle of cleaning my MAF as my car was running sluggish (there are some great articles in here) so I went out and bought "Wynn's Fuel injection Intake and Carb Cleaner" as I was going to use this to clean out the sensor.

So I've remove the whole unit pertaining to the Air system on the left exposing the silver air vent. I noticed it had some carb build up so thought i'd might as well clean it as I had the can by me. I've now primed myself to clean the carbs from the bore hole but as i've pressed it, I've heard a pop and the white straw has popped off and as it was dark I'm nott sure where it has gone. I'm really scared that it has gone into the air intake hose. IF it has. Will I still be ok to close everything up and drive it to my local garage so I can ramp it up and take the nozzle out? or will I cause damage to the engine if I turn it over?

I feel like such an Idiot but I would really appreciate anyone help as I'm loathed to switch the car on now.

    Thanks in advance

    Anyone???????????????????????????????????????

I've put it all back together now, but I now find that at roughly 2100k to 2400K Revs (just before turbo kicks in, I'm hearing a whistling noise? Is my Turbo on it's way out?

    Many thanks in advance!
