    Morning,

I've read the previous posts on this subject but none appear to really answer my question below:

Can anyone help as my washer bottle seems to be leaking, it empties very quickly and the warning light comes on. Is it possible to get to the bottle from the top or do you have to go under the car if a tube has become disconnected ? I can see water dripping underneath the engine, wondering if going through fairly deep snow could have "pulled" the hose from the bottle????

    Thanks in advance.

Have you checked the pipes that are onside the bonnet- that connect to the washer jets. I had the same problem and it turned out that the pipes had become disconnected because of the frost and the water was frozen in them when i tried to use them. Just reconnected them and they worked.

Thanks for the reply, I've checked the hose and it all seems ok under the bonnet. The front and back washers are not working which leads me to the conclusion that the tube has become disconnected where it comes out of the resevoir. Can't get to it from the top so assume it needs to go on a ramp and the sump guard will need to come off. Does this seem feasible ?

I think so although i dont know too much about cars lol. Not too sure about this but you may be able to get at it if you remove the wheel arch liner?

Hello. I had the same thing after Xmas, its more likely a pump fitting and has been pushed out because it froze. Remove the wheel, use a torx bit to undo all the liner fixings then ease this out. If its the fitting thats the problem ( lower part of the reservoir in front of you) then push this togather so the bayonet fixing home. Thats it! Use plenty of screen wash to prevent freezing. Took about about an hour.
