    Hello,

I just got an 08 A6 s-line estate with the MMI / Bluetooth options.
My phone cannot find the audi system. I have the bluetooth on.
I tried with a friends phone & the phone & car immediately matched up.

I have a Nokia 6500c. (bought the phone in UK, Unlocked it & now using on Vodafone Ireland)

    Any Help greatly appreciated.

PS. Love the car so far but no great driving opportunities in this weather

    Hi,

If your car has the new 3G MMI, you can go to Settings -> Bluetooth and find the phone from the car (as long as the phone is set to be discoverable via bluetooth). Not sure whether you have MMI 3G or 2G though - an 08 car may be slightly too early for 3G?

Don't know if this is your issue but; when my a6 was new the default setting was to only broadcast to paired devices. so dealer had to pair my nokia phone first. there are instructions on this forum, but I'm pretty sure the secret ot it was not to start the engine when doing it.

Too early for 3G, it only came with facelift models like yours. If im right, you use the MMI to find the phone not the other way about?

    Hi Chris,

You can do it either way with MMI 3G. If the car is set to be discoverable you can find it from your phone and pair with it. If the phone is set to be discoverable you can find it from the car and pair with it. I've not tried doing both at the same time, though!
