    Hi

I am thinking of replacing the wiper blades on my 53 reg VW New Beetle with some aero flat blades as seen on eBay.

Some advertisers show one 21" blade for the driver's side and a 20" blade for the passenger side, whilst others show two 21" blades.

Now the problem is that my New Beetle is in France and I am in the UK for Christmas so am unable to check the length of mine.

Are three any forumites out there who could check the length of their blades for me? Should I get two 21", or a 21" and 20"?

    BTW the car is RHD!

Thanks in advance, and, Happy Christmas to all.

Mine has 21 Drivers side, 19 other side so 21&20 close, two 21's may hit.Hope this helps.

    Hi

Will you let me know what flat blades you got?
Our beetle needs new blades and was also tempted with the flat aero blades.

    Thanks in advance

    Joe

    Hi all

Just answered my own question (back home in France now). Both blades are 21" long, but the new (eBay purchased) blades are very disappointing.

They do not touch the windscreen along the complete length of the blades - the end one inch of the blades do not wipe the windscreen!!

That is life - you win some and lose some.

    Hi,
I just purchased the Ebay ones which came as 21" both sides. The quality is really good for Ł8 delivered but I had to adjust the arm on the n/s as it was clipping the bonnet (but so was the previous 21" Bosch one that the car came with) but they don't go over the windscreen so it's ok if you do that slight adjustment.
