    Hi, following code came on after the battery was disconnected. Fine before hand, cant reset it with my version of vag-com - anyone know how to reset it manually or any idea what it could actually mean ? thanks

    From my own experience, you need to check the fault codes in the braking system. Mine showed the same fault code but on further inspection (vagcom scan) it turned out to be worn rear brake pads - changed pads, cleared fault codes, no more issues.

    Thanks for he headsup - something is going wrong as parking sensors have now stopped working ! Got it going into the garage thurs now - as you say needs a proper going over with VAG-COM as my version isn't showing any problems - checked all the wiring and no water/condensation anywhere so had enuff now. thanks for the advice

    so - got it fixed thanks to the guys at WVC audi - seems that it needed a reset or two and despite saying the fault was still there it now has fixed itself ! It was saying the steering angle sensor was faulty on the VAS. Still we got there in the end - nothing too drastic. thanks to those who responded
