Does anyone know if there is a list anywhere which details the standard specification of a MK5 GT TDi 140, and also is there a way to tell what extras were added (not viewed the vehicle yet) by giving the registration number?

I am phoning VW today to check on the service history of my ebay win, would they have any more info on the car e.g. what optional extras were added?

Apologies if it's a silly question....

Go into any VW dealer with the reg number or chassis number and ask the parts department to print out the vehicles build spec for you from the Info section of ETKA.
