    Hi Guys,

Im a newbee to the forum and a newbee to Audi. bought a 04 Audi A3 2.0 FSI on Weds, amazed at how good a quality this machine is!! but checking under the car today and last night, I have noticed there is a leak. However I dont think this is engine coolant as the temp gauge is fine and the coolant level is consistant.

the leak is occuring from under neath a panel which is located directly behind the drivers side front wheel. from the underside of the car, it is pretty much directly under where the driver sits but located more towards the center of the car rather than by the skirts. (which makes me think its air con rather than engine coolant)

if anyone has any ideas on what this could be underneath this plastic/grooved panel then please let me know. my first impressions are possible air con system? but would like to know if this is correct and also if anyone has any experience with this or a simlar problem.

Thanks in advance to all you guys.

right now i get it. i was just suprised at how much was leaking. after having it parked for around 2 hours after a 1 hour drive with the aircon on, the patch of water it left was quite considerable (I'd say around 30 cm's long.) it just seems alot?!

maybe im just being a little anxious as its the first car i have owned with aircon!
