I have to replace the front grille & the steel front panel from my T4 & also both bumpers - can anyone tell me how to remove them please.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

If its 96 onwards, curved single piece rear bumper.

Remove the five screws in the grill section, three along the top edge and two in the lower most part of the grill near the steel lower panel.

If you have the original tool kit there should be a tool to help remove the lower steel panel as without it its extremely difficult. Insert the tool between the wing and lower panel with the cut-out towards the centre of the vehicle once the cut-out is engaged behind the panel pull the tool forwards to unclip the panel.

    Front bumper

Behind the number plate there are two bolts which secure the centre of the bumper, the outside edges have a small Torx screw near the top and one underneath securing the bumper to a stay bracket. In total six fastners.

The Rear bumper is similar to the front one at the sides but I think it has to be removed with the steel insert attached which means removing four bolts two each side. Also the fog light needs to be disconnected first.

Glad to say that the tool was in place & made removing the grille a doddle - all now done.

Once again, thanks for your help.
