Almost impossible to find even with the engine out, why do you need to find it? If it is a UK registered car and you PM me the reg I should be able to give you the full number.

    hi
i am from victoria australia, and in order to transfer the vehicle into my name, i have to obtain a Roadworthy Certificate which requires to confirm the engine number on the engine matches with the engine number on the paper work.
