    As per title really.

My electric roof stopped working so I bought the correct fluid and topped it off, this solved the problem albeit temporarily but I've now had to top it up again so I'm guessing there's a leak somewhere (should be fun to find). I just wondered if anyone could tell me how to bleed the system once I have refilled it? I can't find this information anywhere - doesn't it need bleeding? Also, is there a correct way to reset where the roof is after you've released the pressure from the system using the handle in the boot.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Dan

the leak is probably from either the reservior they crack or the rams remove the rear seat base and check for fluid underneath
to bled release the screw on the side of the pump and operate the roof manually several times

No idea, I have only ever done a couple in all the years they have been out, normally the leak is a cracked reservoir on the pump. Is the boot floor wet with fluid?

Hi, I checked under the seat and there is hydraulic fluid on the passenger side so I guess it's the passenger side ram. I assume these can be replaced one at a time? From looking at it to replace it do you just remove the trim panel from the side that's broken and then disconnect the hose and unbolt the ram. Reversing to replace the new one before topping up and bleeding the system?

Also, I don't suppose you have a part number? Thanks again for all your help, it's typical that we get this great weather and this happens!
