I have a 2.0TDI Passat 140bhp and im thinking of doing the Chrome exhaust tips, my question is what is the diameter of the Standard Exhaust tail pipes for example are they 35mm or 40mm etc?

Im going to have a look at the tail pipes in Lidl tomorrow when i get my chrome trim for the grill

jonsey24, for some strange reason I read your post and felt the urge to rush out to the garage, find my vernier, and measure my exhausts. I also have Sport 2.0 TDI 140, and the exhaust pipes are 70mm outside diameter - or 2.750 inches.

    Hope this helps.

I dont know about yours but mine has slightly curved (down) tail pipes.

I thought this made the shiny crome / stainless add ons a no go, unless you want to look like berty the boy racer

Nothing an angle grinder couldn't solve! I was thinking the same thing a while ago and I was going to use a hacksaw, but Quatrelle suggested an angle grinder (I haven't bothered with the chrome tips as I'm too lazy to get the angle grinder/hacksaw out of the garage )
