I have just spent the last 5 hours cleaning the Passat It looks showroom standard now too I must say! But I just wanted to let everyone know that if you have lightly dirty alloys (brake dust, etc) Wonder Wheels works amazingly well at removing anything from them. Just a word of warning though, don't use it on damaged alloys as it will corrode them badly! Also, Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine and the Hi Tech finishing cloth are perfect for a black car as it is so shiny now with no swirly marks on it. My car now looks great again, even though its nearly 3 years old
(I'll post some pics of the cleaning job up soon if I can ever find the lead that attaches my mobile to the computer )

Wonder Wheels can be great but should be used with caution as it very strong can be even start eating away alloys in good condition.

After cleaning the wheels up, its worth sealing them with either a proper wheel sealant like Poorboys, or use a long lasting wax, like Collinite, helps stop the brake dust etching and make them easier to clean in future too.

I've had good results with Wonder Wheels on other cars, but I did find that it attacked the brake discs quite badly, particularly if the car was left for a while without being driven. It's a good idea to try to keep it off the discs, to rinse well, and to drive the car immediately after washing to dry the discs off.

Wonder Wheels tends to win the `comparison` tests, and its easy and economical to use.

There aren`t any magic ingredients in it worthy of note, being primarily Phosphoric Acid, just treat it as you would any other acidic or caustic product and rinse with LOADS of water.
