    Default 1.4 TFSI remap – 18-03-2009,08:07 PM
    I noticed today that the1.4 used in the a3 is down on power in comparison to the same unit in the vw golf (apparently this is so that the audi 1.4 does'nt clash with the 1.8 tfsi). with this in mind, how easy would it be to to get similar power/torque output of the vw, is it jut a case of remapping the ecu?? has anyone , or does anyone, intend on remapping their 1.4??

    Incidentley I saw one tuning site offering to remap the 1.4 tfsi to around 170 bhp!

    Hi there, only just found your post LOL. Anyway, Yes the 1.4 TSI 140bhp can be remapped to around the 170bhp mark and I can do that for you if you are interested.
