    Hi,

    Im doing an oil change in my 07 Audi A4 Avant 2.0TDI 140 bhp tomorrow.

    I need to know what oil to use and how much oil i need to buy?

    Can anyone help me please?

    There are different weights / viscocity of oil - apparently they relate to how protecting they are from a cold start.

    The longlife servicing interval cars will use long life oil, however some people use longlife oil. Get fully synthetic oil for your Audi, make sure it's 507 00 approved.

    Go to halfords web site where you can put in your reg or make/model and they'll tell you the right oil.

    4/5 litres for a full change, remember to buy / change the filters as well.

    get castrol edge 5w 30 oil its the best for diesel engines. i use it in mine and as far as i mind it only takes 3.8 litres to fill the sump
