    Seen plenty of after market ones floating about (look to be more substantial than the genuine one). Can anyone recommend somewhere? From experience preferably...not just Ebay

    FYI - This is nearly the perfect size for the back of the Passat estate with the back seats folded down if you don't want a permanent liner and are great for ~£12. The're really strong as they are meant for building material and the like - I use ours when we have garden stuff that needs taking to the tip.

    I have the the rigid VW one which I wrangled when I got the car, has been excellent & no signs of wear after 18 months

    That Hippobag makes me laugh! It looks to be a very good item though, I might get one to carry my car valeting stuff around when I go to my customers, but the name is just funny
