Just a quick question, i have seen a nice set of leather seats for sale on gumtree.com, origionally they were out of a mk4 golf 3 door but the seller says they are now fitted to his mk3 golf, does anybody know if these will be a straight fit into my leon tdi 2004? or will it involve a lot of modifications??

    Thanks

Ask him if the base of the seats are modified or if he modified the seat rail of the car (here in Spain there are some Mkll Golf with MkiV seats with rail sistem modified). The atachment of the mklll seats are similar to the mkll Golf Rail, but a little wide on the sides, this is, the same sistem for the rados and ibizas mkll & mkll faclift (93-01) & Mkl Toledos (91-96).
If my memory don't fails, the rail system for your Leon (mkI?) is the same system that was fitted for the MkIV Golf and A3 MkI.
