    Hi,
I'm looking to integrate my Nokia Bluetooth car kit to my 2007 A4 Avant.
It's already rigged up using it's own speaker and mic, but I want to improve.
Adding to the Car audio system seems fine (Concert with Bose Amp) - I've all the info I need for that.
The bit I need help with is the microphone.
I removed the headliner lamp area and think I've found a built in mic - Question is ..
Can i use this with the Nokia kit (CK-7W) ?
    and if so ....
Where can I pick up the cables in the bulkhead area ?

If not, I need to run the cable up to here for the Nokia mic - what's the easiest/neatest way to get there up the A pillar ?

    Many thanks in advance
    Stu

That mic is for the Bose system and so you shouldn't use it...

Sorry, I was in a rush when I posted...

It is used by the Bose system to monitor cabin noise and adjust the output to counteract noise. So yes, it is used by the sound system and is a specialist mic...

The Audi mic is a quite expensive at around £65 but does fit in the overhead cluster. I ran a wire up to the cluster and just tucked it between the windscreen and the A-pillar. No need to remove trim and it hasn't worked its way loose...

EDIT: Have a look at the Parrot MultiCan which is a module that interfaces with the steering wheel controls to enable them to control the unit... I was looking at this solution but then got a full Audi system for the same price from Fleabay...

    Thanks for the info.
I already had a Nokia Bluetooth kit, so used that to mute the radio. Mounted the Mic as you suggested with ease!
Whilst I was on, also installed a XCarlink USB/SD MP3 player - integrates to the Concert system as though it's a multi CD changer - all working fine.
