    Does any one have any experience of putting Golf seats into a Jetta.

    Do they fit

    Mk5 golf seats in to a latest shape jetta shouldn't be an issue as they are the same vehicle until you get to the rear wheels.

    just be careful with the electrics due to the airbags.

    I used to sell Vw's and a mechanic who I worked with will be fitting them,Is there something that I should tell him about tho

    not overly, to avoid an airbag warning light, disconnect the battery and allow any charge to drain out the airbags, (i heard they hold a bit) do the job but do not reconnect the battery or turn on the ingnition until the electrics are connected up.

    Just to be safe, dont be in the car when you turn it on for the 1st time just in case.

    i maybe wrong on this and someone is sure to corrent me if i am. Your man may already know this though.

    The seats (front) are easy enough to remove, 4 bolts per seat.
