My throttle body needs replacing on my 1.8 20v passat and after looking around i can see on ebay you can pick one up for about £75 new on ebay.

I know people have found cheap Ebay MAF / MAS sensors to be not worth the trouble but is the same true of Throttle Bodies?

yes i have had it off and cleaned it he faults wont clear on VAG software just keeps coming back im 99.9% sure i need a new one.
The thing is even Euro Car Parts dont have and manufacturer name on their throttle bodies. Which leade me to wonder if its so important to get a branded TB.

If you consider buying a throttle body from Ebay and it fails , you will have to buy another one . I think you would be as well forking out for the genuine item first time round . Try this supplier , I can recommend them , great service and cheaper than the dealer for original parts , hope this helps , Calum .
