    75 cetane would be rubbish in an engine not designed for it, after about 55-56 you get demising returns on most engines designed for DIN 590's 51 cetane.

    filled up yesterday with shell premium - 1st thoughts from cold start , car is ready to drive alot sooner as if its already warmed up less clanking and banging. will try millers mixed with ordinary derv on next fill.

    Pretty much on-topic...

    I use this site to identify the cheapest fuel in my area (and have it on my mobile to find out where I need to go when I am away from home);

    Around here, the Shell station and Tesco are always the cheapest and so I now have a Shell Mastercard and am getting 6p cashback per litre for the first 6 months!!!!

    I agree Danesgate, you get cashback (abeit less) on all other purchases too. It's quite a good card. Do you also have the Shell Drivers Club card too? This gives another 1-2p off per litre in B&Q etc... vouchers and can also pick up points on loads of online shops if you use their site as a springboard https://www.shellsmart.com/smart/index.html?site=en-en
