I am still trying to get my head around identifying and understanding the difference between the Halex and the Torsion 4 wheel drive systems put into the new VW passat cars.
From the forum I gather that transverse engines have Halex 4 motion and inline have Torsion but I cant find any mention of engine orientation or specific 4 motion system mentioned in the sales literature/web site.
The VW R36 is a big engine to be transverse? What is the drive system in this?
