    Hi Mr_Tony,
    Are you just looking for the wiring that goes into the head unit end or for the audio loom for the whole audio system?
    I am pretty sure that the head unit end is just a standard ISO connection.

    Ideally the whole loom. The car has a kenwood head unit in it, and all sorts of weird wiring ive never seen before.
    Seems to have some kind of crossover which the speakers are all wired too, which im guessing is to do with the sub??!
    Just be good to see how the amp is wired up etc, etc.
    Any ideas??

    The crossovers would have been installed if you have comp speakers installed (mids & tweeters seperate).

    I'm afraid that I have have a copy of the whole wiring loom only for standard ISO connections... Try like the A3 side of the forum?

    Thanks

    I thought this too, but it only has one crossover which is tucked behind the headunit. Weird!!! All the connectors are ISO. The speaker outs plug into this crossover thing, which plug into the Audi connectors. Going to investigate it further 2moro. If i could get a copy the ISO wiring loom, that would be awesome, cheers.

    As you know the ISO connection has 2 "blocks"
    One is for the power and the other one is for the speakers
    If you look at the ISO connector as shown in the diagram and then use the key

    ISO_wiring.jpg

    POWER CONNECTOR
    1 = Tel Mute (if attaching a handfree kit -> it will mute the head unit when you get an incomming call)
    4 = +12V (power always running throught this cable - used for the "memory" of the head unit)
    5 = Auto Antenna - IMPORTANT: on ALL VAG cars you can use this cable if linking to a antenna amplifier... All VAG OEM head units have a built in amplifier to boost the radio signal so if you want to use the radio you have to buy a booster and connect it to this cable (DO NOT ATTACH TO AMP REMOTE OUT)
    6 = Illumination (will auto dim the head unit with you swith your lights on
    7 = Switched +12V (power only runs when the ignition is switched on - used to power head unit)
    8 = -0 Earth (Ground)
    ***Note that when wires 4 & 7 go into the Kenwood head unit these wires may be switched as most German cars have these cabled in each others positions on the wiring loom***

    SPEAKER CONNECTOR
    1 = + Rear Right
    2 = - Rear Right
    3 = + Front Right
    4 = - Front Right
    5 = + Front Left
    6 = - Front Left
    7 = + Rear Left
    8 = - Rear Left

    I hope that I have not just blabbed on and that it helps!
