Independent VW/Audi specialist in Rotherham/Sheffield area

Morning all

My car (53 plate A4 tdi 130 se) has got to the mileage where it's not worth paying Audi to service it anymore, so I'm looking for an independant VAG specialist garage in the Rotherham or Sheffield area to do the servicing.

I can do most repairs myself, but due to the mileage I do I want to keep the stamps in the book up to date.

I'd seen another post mentioning 'Stattler' at Attercliffe. Has anybody had any dealings with them? I can't find them anywhere.

Doncaster Audi (the dealers) offer discounted rates on VAG approved servicing on Cars older than 3yrs to keep getting the work!

My A4 TDI 130PS Quattro had a service at 125,000 miles for around £170.00
They detailed extra work needed which i could easily do myself.

They charged me just under £400 for the timing belt / waterpump too.
I'd rather Audi mess it up than another garage!

Obviously - it depends on the deal you get and the places you are willing to take it!

I'm not saying that there is anything at all wrong with non Audi dealers - just that if i sell my Audi, new owners like to see the genuine Audi stamp.
and again i'm not stipulating users of this forum, just other non so wise drivers out there!
I do have the added bonus that my insurance company have repaired damage to the car, which i am not happy with, but...
I do have Audi backing me up when i say things are "not as they were bofre the accident"
