I go to Mastertechs in Morden ( http://www.mastertechs.co.uk ).
They're friendly and reasonably priced

THIS IS A WARNING TO THOSE CONSIDERING USING MASTERTECHS, MORDEN, SURREY.
I've used Morden, Surrey based Mastertechs garage services for 4 years and always had a good relationship with the friendly staff there. The office and workshop was always clean and tidy and a good example of how a non-main dealer garage can operate. They've had my car in for a number of big jobs and when VAG Parts was still in business, were happy for me to supply my own Germany sourced OE parts to fit.
I've recommended them to a number of friends and colleagues too over the years so I was obviously happy with their service.
Not so the last visit however. It now transpires they hadn't been quite as diligent as I'd believed on previous services and another garage showed me the consequences.

I'd noticed oil fumes from the underneath of the car and a strong oily smell in the cabin. When Peter Norris garage called me to say the oil filter was barely nipped up and oil was leaking from the housing all over the bottom of the car I realized my fear about Mastertechs was true. Along with the oil leak, there is a transmission leak, the tyres are wearing badly on the inner edges caused by sloppy suspension arms I'd flagged up many times but always rebuffed by Mastertech mechanics. The oil service was only a few months ago yet it appears the filter was never changed - I can't prove it but it appears much older than it ought. Leaving the filter undone is totally negligent. They also charged me 11/2 hour labour for a simple part fitting job that should have taken 1/2 hour.

The reception at Mastertechs WAS a picture of order and professionalism. My last visit painted a very different picture. The place was a total mess, papers strewn everywhere, suspension arm leaning against the wall and the air of a backstreet garage. I know one of the partners there has been off due to a serious injury sustained outside work but the attitude of another member of staff there had changed to one of menace and I'm afraid I won't be using there services again and nor will my friends and colleagues.

I'd advise others to look elsewhere when choosing a garage for their VW or Audi. My oil leak and new tyres and suspension could have been prevented but they have resulted in an enormous bill I can not justify. Be warned!

Hi There I Use German Motor Mechanics The are very good with german cars the do garage as well as mobile servicing and Repair i think they are close enough to you

Having spent quite a bit of time looking for(both online and through personal reccomendation) an independant VW garage to look after my VW 4motion in South West London, i'd settled on trying out MasterTechs.
Galaxies feedback nearly put me off to the extent that I did a drive by to check out the garage the day before I dropped my car in.I have to say it was immaculate and having now had my 60,000 mile service done I'm exceptionally happy. Not only has everthing done that needed to be done(yes i really did check) they also rectified a couple of problems left over from previous services.
The staff were great, the service was great and the price was great.I have no hesitation in recommending them and judging by the forecourt of top end VW's and Audi's waiting to be serviced I'm not the only one.
