    Hi all,

    I'm New here.

I'm thinking of buying a Transporter Van, I've seen a 1.9 T28, can you guys tell me the difference between the T28 and the T5. I understand the T5 is the newer model T4 but where does the T28 come into it ?

    Cheers.

    T28 means that the gross vehicle weight is 2800kg. T30 is 3000kg & T32 is 3200kg.
T4's were made up to 53 plate when the new T5 came out. They do make a T26 too.

Ok......Been looking on the Autotrader website and found an LT28...this vehicle looks nothing like a Transporter.

I did a search for T28 and T5 both vans look the same to me although the T5 seems to go for more money.

Come-on guy's...... someone must know the difference.

I dont want to spend any cash before I know what I'm buying.

t28 does not refere to an LT they are LT model vans the numbers are the Gross max weight, they also show the bhp on the wings on most models.

Hhhmmmmm, followed that link of yours Tony. Now thats a tasty motor.

Bit flash for me though, I'm looking for Something for work. Still want it to be nice but am gunna be throwing (placing) tools in and out of it.

I've got a Navara Aventurer at mo which to be honest I do love, with the sat nav, bluetooth, air con etc, etc. But its just not practicle enough for me, so its going and funding a Transporter.
