    Got problem with transporter T5 brake pad wear light staying on, switched pads even though plenty left on old ones and light still on, bypassed sender and still on anybody got any suggestions ? thanks

    Hi You will probably find a break on one of the wires in the harness,you need to strip the insulation,you may do a heads and tails to see what side you do first.

    Tried all those, been told it could be a problem with vacume pump, hard to believe as only done 30k any other suggestions thanks

    a so called mechanic,
    Ihave linked out sensor on pads and checked out leads with ohms meter
    all seem fine really doin my head in now

    Loads of wear left on rear and there are no sensors on rear.

    sorry you where right , but to no avale i just whipped of the wheel and there is loads of meat on that one and bridging out the connectors did not work.

    In that case there must be a fault with the instrument .you can recode it, and remove the ol brake pad control function
