Is there much available? What kind of bhp and lb/ft have been achieved from this unit?

Sorry if this is a repost, I did do a brief search but found nothing.

    Thanks in anticipation.

An ECU remap provides roughly 300bhp and 350ft/lbs torque.

I saw an article in Audi Driver mag where someone has taken an Allroad 2.7T and fitted the larger turbos from the RS4 (2.7 version). With a remap he managed 380bhp, and enough torque to keep up with an RS6.

I have seen RS4 units producing well over 400bhp, but with how much reliabilty, I do not know.

the skys your limit, with 2.7 litres and twin turbos you can go crazy...its a baby s4 really, just smaller turbo and inlet outlet pipes,450+ easy, or add 50bhp and 100nb of torqe to a standard car with a remap
    Audi do that?

Sounds good, the other cars I'm thinking of are IS300 and Subaru Legacy TT.

But I can see me going the Audi route. Do they respond well to LPG?

They do respond well to LPG, but just be aware that the technology that Audi have far outweighs the technology that the average LPG converter has about Audi's. i.e. Don't expect to convert it and forget about it.

The main problem you may get is that the LPG conversion company will blame the car if any faults appear, and the Audi garage will blame the LPG system.

If you chip it and fit larger turbos to get the RS4 performance, make sure you do all of that BEFORE you have it converted to LPG, and make sure the converter knows everything you have done to the car prior to them taking on the job.
