    Heh, I hate that feeling when some car show does a drive and slates the car...

    Good example, Top Gear when they did the RS4, M3 and the AMG Merc... They slated the RS4, but in all it's a rather nice car!

    I was reading a review and comments by other owners slating the ride and handling of the 3.0 quattro compared to the 3 series. Weird really, I consider myself a pretty decent driver and I find both to be great. I sometimes wonder if the motoring journalists have some 'incentive' to keep trotting out the BMW is best line.

    They did not slate the car Clarkson loves the RS4 just against the new kids it was not as good Fair play just wait until the New RS4

    Clarkson likes to build up a MFR and then knock them back down. Did it with Merc, BMW and now Audi

    Agreed - now getting my 3rd A4.

    Had a silver B6 Audi A4 2.0 SE saloon. Currently have a red B7 A4 2.0 TDI 140 S-Line saloon. On order is a white A4 2.0 TFSI S-Line saloon.

    A friend in PR says the" Darkside" have the biggest PR machine in the business and are very very slick..say no more!! I ignore Jeremy FORDson on car advice but do like Top Gear as a program

    I think I saw this coming. I saw a small artcile in Autoexpres saying that the A4 had out sold the 3 Series and C Class. In total the A4 has shifted over 100K cars in the new B8 platform. Ive certainly seen a large amount on the road as 09 cars this week.
