Yup, it's either called a Gora or a Getta.

A Google image search for the above terms will show you it's fairly well documented.

    Welcome aboard too

PS... I don't think you'll be short of volunteers to surrender the front end of a golf to swap for a Bora.

I think eshrules was looking into this a while back...

Yeah, well i aint got a Bora YET, waiting to hear back from a job and if i get it im goin straight out there to get one, was looking at the 2.0 due to insurance purposes but i might push for a V5, im sure the note sounds sweet and a little more exlusive. and definitly different for round these parts. any ideas on bodykits cuz id like to change the look but i still want it to look smooth and as if it was something vw could think up themselves (not crazy lookin and no spoiler really).

    Thanks for the welcome

Sweet, i saw on a german website where they turned a grey bora into a 2 door. (http://www.vwvortex.com/resources/pr...main_image.jpg) and I know this aint photoshoped becuase i saw the article where it showed all the steps like welding up and filling the doors, looks gorge but i bet its expensive.

Body kits are aren't really my thing. For subtle additions that look like they were meant to be take a look at VW's own Votex range.

EDIT: The link above is an American creation. If I'm right, it was done by some of the VWVortex lads and another car design/club.
