    Hi everybody
I was told by a mate once that all Michelin 'Pilot' tyres are run-flats. My car is very soon to be in need of some rear tyres. I currently have Michelin Pilot Sport 2's on the rear and Michelin Pilot Primacy on the front. I know run-flats are slightly firmer and noiser than non-run-flats, but I'm used to that now in my A6 so I'm not bothered. I'm thinking of switching the rears to some Bridgestone Potenzas, either (I think) RE050A or RE71s. Does anybody know if these Bridgestones are run-flats, or if the theory that 'Pilot' tyres are all run-flats is true?
    Cheers
    Paul

these are not runflats, look at my tyres website and you'll see that runflats don't last long. how often do you have punctures?

If you are thinking of fitting run flats and your tires are not already run flats you will also need to change your wheels to ones which can use them.

You mean the Bridgestones are not run-flats? I have done 17k in the car and had 1 puncture (there were nails in the road, I found some in the other tyres which I have removed and thankfully did not damage the tyres). How do you get to your tyres website?
    Cheers for your help
