Never used "multifit" before, but I assume the wheel is not the same PCD as your car so an adaptor is fitted. If this is the case then this "spacer" probably needs removing as the PCD is different from your VW.
    One German, Two Italian.
    It's a Mercedes Benzzzz though

Multi-fit wheels are quite simple..... most commonly for 4 or 5 stud vehicles....

    eg, a 5 stud vehicle pcd 5 x 100.....

The multi fit wheel will have 10 holes in it.... 5 x100 and maybe 5 x 112 (or something similar)...

It just means the wheels will fit most types of car with 5 studs....

    Hope that makes sense?

    Nick

    example
    1.9 tdi PD 100 Bora
    110cc pitbike, 4 speed semi-auto
    110cc Off road buggy, 4 speed semi-auto
