P2011 fault code help please

Hello all, after some advice please with my 57 plate Q7

starts and runs fine when cold but once warm engine note changes/runs rough and then cuts out and won’t re-start until cold. I’ve a basic code reader that brings up fault code P2011

ive done a bit of research and found it may relate to swirl flaps?

what I can’t understand is why it’s fine when cold but with in 10mins of running on the drive it starts running rough and dies?

Any help or advice would be appreciated

I can’t see that cutting the engine out, sounds more like crank speed sensor which often doesn’t come up as a fault code so you have to monitor the value as the engine cuts.

thanks for replying. I’ll plug it back in and see if there’s any other fault codes.

strange it runs fine when cold then splutters and dies when it starts to warm up

That is classic hall sender failure.
