There are quite a few, do you have the VIN(s)?

I don't have a Vin, I was just looking to make note of the engine codes as looking to buy one in the near future and wanted to research the engines. In my ignorance I assumed there'd only be 1 2L engine code for the Mark7 specific Gtd. I sort of assumed the same for the 150 2L model.

You'd wonder why they have different engines in the 2L, do all these different engines not cause more expense for VW rather than just using the 1 engine.

You would not believe how complex it is, it is all I can do to keep up. Without breaking them down by PS, 2L TDI for 2017 are CRBC,CRGA,CRLB,CRLD,CRVA,CRVC,CYKB,DCYA,DCYB,DEJA, DEJB,DFGA,DFGB,DGCA,DJGA

Wow, when you said quite a few I was thinking 3 or 4, obviously if I thought there were a million I wouldn't have asked for their numbers. I think I count 15 in your list, Thanks for posting them. I'll research them individually myself now. One would have to wonder are there really much differences between all them engines. I'll research and try to determine which ones are better than others, etc,,, but at least I have a starting point.

In my opinion / experience the best diesel mk4 golf was the 1.9L ASZ and the 2.0L BKD in the mk5 Golf.
