Hi guys its time to replace my clutch as its slipping (revs going up when accelerating but cars not accelerating accordingly)

Which clutch/flywheel do you recommend? i have bought an LUK clutch from a local parts store now sourcing a flywheel

    I have found this

new Genuine LUK Dual Mass Flywheel DMF 415049510 Audi A4 B7 with Bolts | eBay

Its all in LUK packaging but then says made by sachs??

Will this be okay to fit with my LUK clutch. im so confused there are so many different part numbers for the same item GSF and euro car parts all different too! HELP!

Sometimes you can mix, sometimes you can't, what is the VIN? When we do a clutch we only order a full matching kit from one supplier as imagine if you get a warranty problem, say a judder? Then each supplier will blame the other and you are piggy in the middle, trust me, been there and suffered.

Yes it is normal when the box contains reconditioned parts, not new as with when you buy a genuine VAG clutch. Your car was built with an LUK flywheel, the current number is 03G 105 266 BH which is an LUK 415 0244 10. I get the kit without DMF you need as 624 3308 00.

Ive just had a full 4 piece Sachs clutch kit . Moderator tells me its of the highest quality so im pleased about that .Id go for a complete clutch kit not separates. Hasnt solved my problem of 1st and reverse gears not disengaging unfortunately. Its an intermittant problem when engine warm after the first fifteen minutes car running .Good luck choosing.

Is it best practice to replace both clutch and flywheel together? Similar to timing belt and water pump

With both jobs, if someone asked me to do it without the DMF or water pump (when relevant) I would refuse.
