    Can anyone tell me what is the fuse for the radio in a Golf Mark IV Year 2000 and provide a diagram layout of the fuse box ??

    Kenney,

    Have heard that there may be two fuses for the radio according to halfords who fitted it. Once for main power and one for backup power ie memory settings. if this is true, what other fuse number would possibly be involved as there is two 'live wires' for the radio. One is registering 12 volts the other about 1 - 2 volts.

    remember all radios have also a built in fuse,but i see from wiring diagram Bora has 2 25amp pos 42, and up to OCT 2001 10amp pos 37,from NOV 2001 10amp pos 10

    Hey,
    This is a little off point, but I have a 01 golf, and I am changing the head unit.

    I was wanting to know if any off you know what the following wires Pink & Grey wires are for.

    Really I am try to find the wire which is for accessory power...

    Any help you have would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, big help late this evening to find the blown radio fuse, 25a, on W Bora Tdi sport. No thanks to VW customer help line ' open till 6pm only'. AND not listed in the handbook or on the cover....
