Audi are running an offer currently, where you get 2 years warranty + MOT cover as well as 2 years roadside assistance.

Has anyone got any experience with using the roadside assistance service? It appears to cover assistance for all of Europe + recovery for UK only.

Looking for opinions whether the cover is worth the paper it's printed on, or would it be a better idea to just go third party (e.g. StartRescue)? Particularly interested in euro cover because I'll be doing a fair bit of driving on the continent.

I've used them once and it was excellent (albeit the car was a year old and the work was at home)

For UK&Euro cover (I also used to drive lots sur le continent) I've always gone with Green Flag; having read the small-print of the various recovery options, they offered me the best value for what I required.

In Ireland, Audi Assistance is usually attended to by the AA. Service is very dependent on where you break down and the competency of the Technician sent out.
More information here as to what they cover etc.

Personally found Audi Assist to be really good - only used here in the UK and had to use it a few times for silly things.

But they have been superb in getting out to the car and either fixing it or getting it to Audi and sorting me a courtesy car out pretty rapidly.

I think I extended my Audi Assist for an extra two years when it expired.

Unfortunately no idea on what euro cover is like.
