Have been using my newish 1.2 litre Fox for 2 months .. on a regular 300 mile round trip on motorways travelling 60 - 70 mph the fuel consumption worked out at exactly 40mpg using premium unleaded ... is this figure reasonable? Seems a bit thirsty to me and considering reverting to standard unleaded to economise. Do any other Fox users have mpg figures for motorway driving?

    Thanks for reading

Don't have exact mpg figures but on an average of £20 Standard Unleaded around a city my girlfriends Fox gets about 140 miles, whereas when we drove down the motorway it worked out at 170 miles for the same amount of fuel.

p.s. don't suppose you have a spoiler on your Fox? My girlfriends been hunting since January with no luck

Thanks for info but realy need more accurate figures based on eg actual mileage on a round trip starting with a full tank and then refilling tank again at end of round trip ... thus calculating mpg based on gallons consumed for known mileage.

Have not tried to acquire a spoiler
