Clearly Audi are pushing the vorsprungs out first but even then if you compare pre facelift vorsprung to the new one it’s not like for like with the specs. There are a few things missing off the new one.

You can’t spec side steps, no option of heated rear seats, no BLIS unless you have the full assist pack, no heads up option, no self park/ park assist advanced (AT ALL including on vorsprung), no tv tuner at all, no cd changer, - HD laser lights only on the vorsprung.

Dealers will probably retro fit side Steps in lesser models but no doubt they will come at an extra extra cost.

I have a feeling Audi will drip feed the inclusion of the missing options over the coming months. (I hope anyway) considering all options available in Europe.
What’s BLIS? I’m sitting here thinking through the acronyms but can’t work it out

Does the Vorsprung come with All Wheel Steering? If so that’ll probably be why you can’t spec the running boards?

I think the rest of the stuff you’ve mentioned like HUD and heated seats are all standard on Vorsprung.

Hi Nemo, had some lengthy convo with the dealer he thinks self park/assist isn’t even spec’d on the vorsprung.

I reverted back to comparing preface lift vorsprung spec against the new facelift vorsprung spec config. definitely some discrepancies not even the dealer could confirm if the new one gets all the spec the out going model had.

Audi really do need to make it a lot clearer.

Doesn’t surprise me to be honest and for all we know the Configurator could be wrong....

It’s worth ‘Configuratoring’ the car and looking at the PDF as that will have all the codes for standard and options ticked. Take that to the dealer. Big issue with Audi UK is that they’ve stopped producing brochures (which i understand from a paper point of view) but they’ve also stopped eBrochures which is madness!!

Have to admit I’ve only ever used the park assist once - day one when I was messing about with it - never used it since - might test it tomorrow to see if it still works

After reading this article It’s not looking good for the Sports Differential on the SQ Vorsprungs.

Makes a really good point about the new touchscreens I agree with: “Both use haptic feedback to give you the impression you’re pressing physical buttons, but you have to give the screens a fairly solid prod to register your input – which is a bit of a faff and it’s surprising no one at Audi noticed that this could be distracting when you’re tanking along.”

I believe you can turn the haptic feedback off and use light touch.
