    Hi all

I've recently bought a 2014 Audi A6 C7 bitdi saloon and am getting to grips with all the toys it has to offer.
However I'm struggling to find out if it has High Beam Assist?
I've tried the usual turning on procedure by setting the lights to auto and turning the main beam on then pushing the stalk back again, this would normally activate the high beam assist but nothing happens on mine?

I've tried accessing high beam assist via vcds and located on the screenshot below
    high beam assistant2.jpg
I then ticked the High Beam box and saved the change

Doing this didn't make the High Beam Assist work either but it did initiate a fault code, see screenshot below

Having tried this without success I've changed it back to what it was in the first place.
Can anyone shed any light on how to get this option working on my car please?
I have heard that I may need to change my mirror to one that supports this option?
    Many thanks in advance.

There will be sensor facing towards oncoming traffic on the back of the rear view mirror... plus ultimately... the number feature code for High beam Assist will be present on your car specification sticker (located in the boot somewhere.. under the spare storage flap etc?)

Mirror looks different to mine ... I have high beam assist...
Check your vehicle data label... it should be on the front page of your Audi manual as well...

I've got High Beam Assist in my A7. Pushing the stalk away, at night, shows the high beam notification on the display. As for the mirror, this video shows the rear view camera on an A4 Audi A4 B9, MY2016 - High Beam Assist activation - vkljuÄitev High Beam Assist sistema - YouTube. I'll check my 2016 A7 later to see what the miirror looks like.

Do you have side lane assist feature? This system aslo have a camera which can be used for the HBA. What I can say, that there is one more thing which seems to be a mandatory thing, it's the "Hihgline" Comfort module, as I was not able to activate the HBA, because of the "Standard" Comfort module. I'm not sure, if the mirror change in itself will solve the problem.

No, Only the later facelift models have integrated the HBA with the Lane assist camera. Pre facelift still need to have the camera below the mirror in the picture higher up. A flick of the high beam stalk backwards activates the HBA.
